USB drive port not working

If your computer usb port is not working then try the steps below to resolve this issue

For window 7 users

1. Remove all the usb flash drive /pen drive from the computer.
2. click start and type DEVICE MANAGER and select it from the list
3.  Expand Universal serial Bus controller
4. Right click on GENERIC USB HUB or USB ROOT HUB

5. Click Uninstall
6. Click on Action in Device Manager and click scan for hardware changes or Restart the computer
7. If after that also usb port is not working then your usb port is faulty.

For Window 8 users


1. Remove all the usb flash drive /pen drive from the computer.
2. Press Window + x key and select Device Manager
(Window is four square key between alt and ctrl key on the left bottom of keyboard)
3.  Expand Universal serial Bus controller
4. Right click on GENERIC USB HUB or USB ROOT HUB
5. Click Uninstall
6. Click on Action in Device Manager and click scan for hardware changes or Restart the computer
7. If after that also usb port is not working then your usb port is faulty.
